“We can’t help everyone, but everyone can help someone” is a well-known quote by Ronald Regan and one that resonates daily with the newest member at The Region Lawyers, Inc.
Heather Blythe grew up in Illinois and became a Hoosier at the age of 16. After graduating from Lake Central High School, she went on to attend Ball State University. During her time at Ball State University, she worked multiple jobs, and was a member of the Business Fraternity, Delta Sigma Pi. She studied Criminal Justice and Criminology as well as Business Information Technology and graduated with a Bachelor of Science. She began her journey in the criminal justice system working with juveniles in Marshall County, Indiana. After getting her first full time job as a Jail Officer at the Porter County Jail, Heather realized she wanted to help and impact people’s lives in a more long-term way. Heather began working at the Porter County Adult Probation Department in September of 2011. There she served as a formal probation officer, and eventually transitioned to the pretrial division. She became the Pretrial Supervisor in August of 2022. When she is not in the office, Heather enjoys being a mom to two, listening to music, being creative, and having fun with friends and family.
